Announcing the latest exceptional winners

The winners of the 2025 ASHI awards were announced at InspectionWorld 2026 in February at Valley Forge. 

For years, ASHI has been proudly recognizing its members who go above and beyond the expected. To honor those members, ASHI presents four awards annually. Below is the most recent round of winners. Check back for more in-depth articles on the winners in upcoming issues of the Reporter

Philip C. Monahon Award

The Philip C. Monahon Award recognizes an ASHI member who has made exceptional and innovative contributions to the ASHI membership.

Winner: Mark Goodman

John E. Cox Member of the Year Award

The John E. Cox Member of the Year Award recognizes an ASHI member who has made exceptional contributions to an ASHI chapter.

Winner: Roger Herdt

Ironman Award 

Established in 1998, the Ironman Award recognizes an ASHI Member who has given his or her time, energy, talent, and determination to ASHI over a long period of time and with little recognition. This annual award is presented by the outgoing ASHI President.

This year’s Ironman Award went to the ASHI SOP Committee in full, recognizing their longstanding commitments and hard work for the cause.

President’s Awards

Established in 1989, the President’s Award is presented by the outgoing ASHI President in recognition of outstanding service to the association.
