Submitting Your Continuing Education (CE) Credits with ASHI

At ASHI, continuous learning is the cornerstone of professional growth. Submitting your home inspection CE credits ensures you remain at the forefront of the industry, maintain credibility, and stay competitive.

Why Submit CE Credits?

Submitting CE credits not only fulfills ASHI’s membership and certification requirements but also reinforces your professional commitment. Key Details About ASHI CE Requirements

Annual Requirement: Complete 20 ASHI CE hours annually to maintain your membership and certification.

Submission Deadline: Submit CE credits by December 31st each year to remain in good standing for the following year.

Accepted Categories:

  • ASHI-Approved Classes: Both in-person and virtual classes.
  • Online Courses: Recognized industry-related training programs.
  • Chapter Events: Attend local ASHI Chapter activities.
  • State-Approved CE Courses: Any courses approved by state licensing bodies are also valid.

ASHI recognizes various learning opportunities for CE credits:

  1. Technical Category: Focus on advanced technical education and hands-on training.
  2. Business Category: Business development, communication skills, or professional growth.
  3. Environmental Category: Topics related to environmental concerns in home inspections.
  4. ASHI/Profession Category: Volunteer activities, such as board service, mentorship, and professional writing (e.g., blogs or articles).

Note: CE credits earned through ASHI Edge or The ASHI School automatically transfer to your member account. No manual submission is required.

For CE credits earned via state-approved providers or other organizations, use the Submit CE Credits claim form in your member dashboard.

How to Submit CE Credits

Submitting your CE credits is simple:

  1. Log in to Your ASHI Member Dashboard: Click on My Uploads to access the Submit CE Credits button.
  2. Fill out CE information: Enter relevant CE information for the education event.
  3. Upload Documentation: Upload certificates or documentation from approved providers.
  4. Track Your Progress: View completed hours and monitor outstanding requirements in your dashboard.
