Bio

Jim Vaughn, owner of HOMEAuthority, is an ASHI Certified Inspector providing property inspections, consultations and other inspection related services in the greater Washington DC metro area since 1986. Jim inspects in Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland. A Virginia and Maryland Licensed Inspector, Jim is an active member of NOVA ASHI and has been involved with VAREI (Virginia Association of Real Estate Inspectors) since that organization was formed. Although a specialist in historic homes, Jim is comfortable with any age or style of residence. Reports are digital with captioned photos - typically provided within 24 to 72 hours. Jim also offers mold, indoor air quality (IAQ) and radon testing.
