Bio

Licensed Home Inspector Providing Property Inspection Services for Over 16 Years Discovery Property Inspections is owned and operated by ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) certified home inspector, Steve Kidwell. After receiving a problematic home inspection of his own when buying his first home, Steve realized that he had the knowledge, experience, and passion to help people that would make him a great inspector. He has now been working as a home inspector for over 16 years and has performed well over 2,500 inspections in that time. He loves owning his own business and using it to provide significant help to people during one of the most exciting and yet stressful times of their lives. He also likes being a part of each one of his client’s home-buying experiences and genuinely enjoys the fact that he’s gotten to work with and help so many new clients throughout the years. Steve is dedicated to ensuring his clients get the information they need, on a timely basis. His reports are professional, thorough, and easy to follow. Outside of his career, Steve enjoys spending time with his 17-year-old son, camping and spending time outdoors, playing with and training his two rescue dogs, and completing his own home improvement projects. Carpentry and Construction Background Steve’s father was a home builder who taught Steve a great deal about the importance of attention to detail within the home and how things work. Throughout college, Steve worked alongside his father
