Long Island ASHI was established as a not-for-profit Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors. Long Island ASHI members perform inspections throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties on Long Island and in the 5 boroughs of New York City. The members meet once a month to promote continuing education and to share their experiences. Long Island ASHI welcomes new members to join the Chapter and to learn about the dynamic and ever-changing Home Inspection profession.
Chapter Initiatives
- To promote among member home inspectors cooperative research and educational activities.
- To encourage the Professional Training of new and existing members.
- To provide for the professional and technical interests of the home inspection industry.
- To promote Long Island ASHI to the public and to the real estate community.
