Nominate, Nominate, Nominate!

It’s that time of year again. Nominations are open for the Philip C. Monahon and John E. Cox awards. All ASHI Chapter Leadership are encouraged to nominate an outstanding ASHI home inspector for these prestigious recognitions.
The Philip C. Monahon Award
The Philip C. Monahon Award recognizes an individual who has made exceptional and innovative contributions to the ASHI Membership. The recipient must be an ASHI Certified Inspector who is dedicated to the goals and ideals of ASHI as stated in ASHI’s Code of Ethics and, as an ASHI Certified Inspector, has rendered outstanding contributions to ASHI for a minimum of five years. Contributions consist of time, talent, or expertise that have been beneficial to the Society, its members, and the general public ASHI ultimately serves.
Nominations for the Monahon award should include how the individual has contributed to ASHI as well as why the individual should be considered. Nominations close on Dec. 10.
Past Philip C. Monahon award winners include Bob Mulloy (2024), Mike Atwell (2023), Alex Steinberg (2022), Bryck Guibor (2021), and Victor G. Faggella (2020).
The John E. Cox Award
The John E. Cox Member of the Year Award is an annual award that recognizes an ASHI Certified Inspector Member who has made exceptional contributions to an ASHI Chapter. You can nominate an ASHI Certified Inspector who has rendered outstanding service to an ASHI chapter and the home inspection profession over a period of years or under circumstances that may not recur.
Each chapter may submit one nomination using the online form. Nominations close on Oct. 21. Once collected, chapter presidents will vote.
Past John E. Cox recipients include Paul MacNeill (2024), Hollis Brown (2023), Mark Goodman (2022), Harry Morrell (2021), and Reuben Saltzman (2020).
