Ben Franklin on InspectionWorld

By Michele George, Director of Education & Events

Benjamin Franklin was a Founding Father, member of the Continental Congress, signer of the Declaration of Independence and signer of the United States
Constitution. Arguably, the most accomplished individual in American history, he was also a successful printer, publisher, scientist, inventor, diplomat,
civic leader, statesman, and philosopher.

Ben Franklin lived most of his life in Philadelphia. He felt strongly about investing in knowledge, gathering for important meetings and the pursuit of
happiness. He wrote countless published articles. If Ben Franklin were alive today, he would write a convincing article providing five reasons to attend
InspectionWorld Philadelphia based on five famous personal quotes.

An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.
– Look forward to a great learning experience and some quality networking time while at InspectionWorld Philadelphia. Register early and save. Conference
registration early bird pricing continues until December 5th! Go online to find all the details on our education, networking, special events and expo
planned for IW Philadelphia. Make a list of the events, activities and sessions that you plan to attend each day and vendors you want to visit.

Lost time is never found again.” –
Stay at the Conference Hotel, be where the action is. Don’t lose time in transit. Make your reservations at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel.
Located in Center-City, the hotel is close by to America’s Most Historic Square Mile, Independence Hall, National Constitution Center, and the Liberty Bell
Center. The ASHI group rate for a single/double room is $137.00 per night (taxes not included). Internet is complimentary in guest rooms.

Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.
– IW begins on Tuesday, January 6th. The expo hall officially opens at 3:00 p.m. and the Opening Night Reception begins at 5:00 p.m. The
vendor-packed expo hall is the place to be when you are not in classroom sessions. But did you know that you could get even more training and learn how to
make more money by attending one of the pre-conference courses to add ancillary services to your business?

Attend one of the eight excellent pre-conference courses (course details and fees are listed in the IW website).

Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.
– Make connections, hand out business cards and introduce yourself to other home inspectors; swap stories and exchange ideas. Collect business cards and
write notes on the back to remember the person. Visit the vendors who are ready to assist you with the latest in inspector tools and services. Be sure to
stop at the ASHI booth to meet the ASHI staff and check out the newest merchandise. Associates: Meet with Jim Johnson – ASHI Verifier who will verify your
reports and answer questions.

Welcome to ASHI Event
: For new ASHI members and first-time IW attendees, a special event to welcome you and introduce you to ASHI member benefits, ASHI staff and a path to
success.

The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.
Have More Fun – The Opening Night Reception, President’s Gala Dinner and Dance, and ASHI Annual Business and Networking Breakfast are scheduled events
where you and your colleagues can gather and share good times.

Taste of Philly Night
– Plan to meet your friends back at the Expo Hall on Wednesday after class. From 4:30 to 7:00 pm everyone will enjoy a sample of foods that Philadelphia
has made famous. Bite into a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, a soft pretzel and then enjoy an Italian Lemon Ice. Here’s another opportunity to gather with
your colleagues, visit with the vendors, and enjoy good times.

Ben Franklin would say: Come to InspectionWorld for the education, you’ll gain from the entire IW experience.
