ASHI Board approves new Chapter Outreach Program
A home inspector may now associate with an ASHI Chapter without first joining the national Society. For more information, see the April Board Report Out.
MRCs are out; CE hours are in
The good news is that ASHI has changed more than a name. ASHI has simplified the way you can earn the 20 education hours you’re required to submit with your annual membership dues to maintain your ASHI membership. A new claim form is being developed. For additional information, see the April Board Report Out.

Membership invited to Town Hall Meeting in Pittsburgh
The membership is invited to attend the annual Town Hall Meeting, July 13, and the Board of Directors Meeting, July 14, both of which will be held at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh, Pa. Questions? Contact angelao@ashi.org.
Attention Officers and Directors
The board will meet October 18 & 19, 2007, in Rosemont, Ill. for long-range planning. The regularly scheduled public Board meeting still will take place on Saturday, October 20. Questions? Contact Rob Paterkiewicz at robp@ashi.org.
Smart Track Chapter Modules now available
Are you looking for a technical presentation developed specifically for home inspectors for an upcoming chapter meeting? Six Smart Track Chapter modules (slide presentation with instructor notes) are now available. To gain access for your chapter, contact Michael Long at michaell@ashi.org or by phone at 847-954-3188.
Chapter Bylaws
ASHI chapters should update their chapter bylaws to reflect the new membership category name changes. This is considered an administrative “housekeeping” change and does not require a vote of chapter members. No review or approval by HQ or legal counsel is required to make these changes. Please do so immediately. Questions? Contact bobk@ashi.org.
Chapter Calendars just a click away
Did you know that all chapters have calendars on the ASHI Web site to announce chapter events? Your members can look at their own calendar and the calendars of other chapters to see what’s going on. To use your chapter calendar, you need to appoint a calendar administrator. Contact Bob Kociolek at bobk@ashi.org or 847-954-3177 to get your calendar going or to resolve questions or issues.
Help reinstate suspended members
Chapter Presidents: If you need a list of chapter members who have paid their dues but are on administrative suspension for failure to submit MRCs, please contact Kate Zarko at katez@ashi.org.
