Jay Hensleigh has been inspecting homes since 2006. Before that, he was a contractor and handyman for more than 10 years and has hands-on experience building, remodeling, and repairing homes. The combination of this experience and classroom training makes Jay an exceptional home inspector. He continues to gain hands-on knowledge and experience filling in his schedule with home maintenance and repair projects, often repairing issues found by other home inspectors.
Jay also brings a fresh angle to home inspection: that of a trained scientist. Holding a Master's Degree in fishery biology, Jay was trained to be thorough, methodical, and objective in his first career path. These qualities are well-suited for a masterful home inspector.
