InspectionWorld 2026 will be held at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and will feature a comprehensive education program for home inspectors.
Education at InspectionWorld 2026 goes beyond classroom learning; it’s a comprehensive professional development experience designed to advance every aspect of a home inspector’s career. The program combines current and future technical knowledge, business strategies, and ethical best practices aligned with ASHI’s Standards of Practice. Sessions emphasize practical, real-world application, peer collaboration, and emerging industry trends. Submitted by industry experts and professionals and reviewed by ASHI’s Education Committee, the curriculum ensures inspectors receive relevant, accurate, and high-quality instruction that supports certification, continuing education, and professional excellence.
Education Program Structure
The InspectionWorld 2026 education schedule includes three concurrent tracks that run throughout the conference.
- Two Technical Tracks will focus on topics relevant to the inspection of residential systems and components.
- One Business & Ancillary Track will address areas related to business development, marketing, client communication, and specialized or ancillary inspection services.
This structure allows attendees to tailor their learning experience based on their interests and professional goals.
Pre-Conference Education
Before the main conference begins, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Pre-Conference Education Courses. These in-depth sessions provide focused instruction on specialized topics and are ideal for inspectors looking to strengthen specific areas of expertise.
The 2026 pre-conference program includes:
- Chimney Inspection Class: a full-day class, going over a detailed overview of chimney systems, inspection methods, and reporting considerations, led by CSIA.
- 2024 IRC BootCamp: 2024 Introduction to the International Residential Code: a two-day, hands-on review of the International Residential Code, designed to help inspectors understand code concepts that apply to residential construction and inspection practices and prepare you for the ICC IRC B1 Exam.
Pre-conference courses require separate registration and provide additional ASHI continuing education credit opportunities. The 2024 IRC book is required for the class, but if you do not have a copy, ASHI can order one for you at a discounted rate.
Instructors and Expertise
Sessions are presented by experienced inspectors, educators, and subject matter experts with direct knowledge of current inspection practices and industry standards. Continuing Education Credits
All educational sessions at InspectionWorld 2026 will qualify for ASHI continuing education credits, and most will also provide state licensing CE Credits. Attendees will receive clear documentation and reporting instructions to ensure proper credit for their participation
You will have the opportunity to earn 20 ASHI CE credits by attending educational sessions and participating in networking opportunities with vendors and colleagues.
