ASHI Forum Etiquette Guidelines
Welcome to the ASHI Forum! This space is designed to connect members, foster meaningful discussions, and share insights that strengthen our community. The primary goal of this Forum is for ASHI Members to interact with each other to learn and collaborate on Home Inspection topics and matters.
To create a respectful and productive environment, we ask that all participants follow these guidelines:
Be Respectful
Engage with courtesy. Disagree professionally, never personally.Stay On Topic
Keep posts relevant; start a new thread for new subjects. Use the Topics listed as a guide to post relevant material.Share Knowledge
Offer insights, examples, and resources. Avoid self-promotion.Protect Privacy
No client data or sensitive member information.Communicate Clearly
Use professional language, clear titles, and avoid ALL CAPS.Be Inclusive
Encourage participation and support all levels of experience.Report Issues
Flag problems for moderators, don’t fuel conflicts.- ASHI Support
If you need help with issues regarding your membership, education, website, etc. please reach out directly to ASHI Staff at membership@ashi.org. As this Forum is created to build community among our members, questions to ASHI Staff on the Forum will take longer than a direct email based on communication priority. If you feel that a Forum question needs to be answered in 24-48 hours, then this concern should be sent via email to the staff.
Please note that ASHI has the authority to close threads, delete threads, make comments private, and edit comments as they see fit in order to meet these guidelines and encourage community.
