Master the essentials of 4-Point and Wind Mitigation inspections.
We are offering a combination 4-Point Inspection and Wind Mitigation class for anyone doing Wind Mitigation Inspections. The 3-hour course is required by Insurance Companies.
A test will be given covering the Wind Class with a passing grade of 70%. There will be no test for the 4-Point Class.
A four-point Inspection is often required when obtaining a new homeowners insurance policy or renewing an existing policy. The 4-point insurance inspection includes a limited scope evaluation of the following four systems:
(1) roofing
(2) electrical
(3) heating-air conditioning
(4) plumbing
The focus of the inspection is to determine the approximate age, components, and general condition and how much life is left of these systems.
The goal of the class is to properly perform wind mitigation inspections and complete a wind mitigation inspection form for homeowners and insurers.
We will be discussing the history and conception of the form and how to properly fill it out. What to look for and how to interpret roof configurations.
This class is approved for 3 ASHI and 3 Florida State Continuing Education Credits
