Upon completion of ASHI’s Inspecting Commercial Electrical Systems course, you will be able to:
· Identify the proper safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE), and arc-flash protection needed during a commercial electrical inspection
· Describe the types and sizes of services within a report
· Relate the unique characteristics of commercial electrical systems
· Recall the common voltages used in commercial settings
· Summarize the science and functions of three-phase electric supplies
· Identify the basics of standby systems and backup generators
· Describe uninterruptable power systems (UPS)
· Outline the similarities and differences between residential and commercial electrical systems
· Recognize various aspects of transformers like utility owned, private owned, size ratings, and application purposes
This full-day class is ASHI and TN state-approved for CE Credit. This means that participants will be rewarded with a total of 6 CE credits upon its completion.
