Background/Experience

Shaun is a native of Illinois and has resided in the Chicagoland area for over 20 years.  Shaun currently lives in Naperville with his wife and two children. Shaun is the Team Market Leader for the Chicago market and has been a full-time home inspector since 2013.  Shaun has inspected over 2500 homes and owned his own home inspection business for approximately 9 years before joining BPG.  Prior to his inspection career, Shaun was a Project Engineer for a large environmental remediation firm where he provided construction oversight and performed daily inspections on large environmental projects in the Midwest.  He was also an independent inspector for a company performing a full range of insurance property/loss control inspections.

Shaun can inspect residential and commercial properties.  Shaun performs termite inspection
and indoor air quality testing. 

Education
Shaun attended American Home Inspectors Training, passed the National Home Inspector Exam, and graduated with a BS in Environmental Services from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

Hobbies/Volunteer/Interesting Facts
When not inspecting homes, Shaun likes to spend time with family, golf, fish and go on hikes.  He loves to attend sporting events and strives to see a baseball game in every MLB stadium.  He also enjoys coaching his son’s travel baseball team.
