We Speak House, and We Just Turned Up the Volume
Audio added to consumer-friendly, interactive Virtual Home Inspection
The unique Virtual Home Inspection, which received national attention when it debuted last year on ASHI’s Web site, now speaks to consumers. Narrators explain the major components of a home inspection and how the ASHI Standards of Practice relate to the process, which accentuates the message that home inspections have value and that there is a difference between an ASHI Inspector and all other inspectors.
ASHI Inspectors will find it easy to add this captivating feature to their own Web sites. All it takes is a visit to ASHI’s Members Only Extranet to make a copy of the script.
Real estate practitioners had an opportunity to hear the new Virtual Home Inspection at the National Association of Realtors® conference in San Francisco in October, and were invited to add it to their Web sites to help educate homebuyers about home inspections.
Given a voice, the Virtual Home Inspection now does an even better job than before of giving consumers an idea of what inspectors look for when reviewing a home, as well as the importance of the home inspection process when buying or selling a property.
It continues to provide consumers with an overview of the 10 main systems and components inspected, common problems that occur in these 10 areas, and why the ASHI’s Standards of Practice are recognized as the benchmark for the profession.
