Southern New England Chapter Improves Communications While Saving Dollars
The mailing and printing costs of our hard copy chapter monthly newsletter were eating us alive. Now we’ve cut the cost of the newsletter in half by using e-mail, and the services of a sub-contracted editor.
Chapter members and officers send her articles and pictures by e-mail or regular mail. She scans hard copies, then edits and formats the newsletter, distributing it electronically after our Chapter President proofs it.
In addition, she maintains a library of interesting home inspection topics to use as filler material as needed, and she maintains our chapter Web site www.snecashi.org.
The Gulfstream ASHI Chapter saw our newsletter and now those folks use the same editor and format. For more information about our editor, contact the chapter presidents of either SNEC ASHI or Gulfstream ASHI at infotech@99main.com. She’s a great resource to our chapters and maybe she can be your chapter’s resource as well.
