Rebuilding Together Kicks Off Tradesperson of the Year
Nominate a colleague to win a trip to the Super Bowl
Rebuilding Together, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving affordable homeownership and revitalizing communities, kicked off its Tradesperson of the Year campaign in Atlanta, Ga., in conjunction with a rebuild project. ASHI is proud to be a skilled trades partner for the campaign.
Rebuilding Tradesperson of the Year is an online contest to recognize the contribution skilled trades professionals make in their communities every day through volunteering. The winner will receive a free trip for two to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans and $15,000 in Sears tools and WD-40 products. Other prizes will be available for runners up and the people who nominate them, The contest for Tradesperson of the Year ends on March 31, 2012. The Atlanta project was done with CNA Insurance Company. Chris Grundy from the HGTV/DIY network and James Carey from the syndicated radio show “On the House” were on hand to help launch this year’s campaign to honor and recognize skilled trades professionals giving back to their communities through volunteerism. Stan Garnet, ASHI public relations chairperson, represented ASHI.
