Our members frequently play inspector gadget and help to detect problems and simplify repairs in our customers’ homes. Recently our ASHI President, Bill Loden, worked with our public relations team for an article in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on using the latest technology in home inspection. Bill let staff writer Bob Karlovits know that there are a lot of advantages to using equipment developed in the past few years. For example, high resolution photographs can give homeowners the best imagery of faulty stairs and foundation repairs desperately needed before purchasing or selling their home. The article portrays the steps our industry has taken from the days of a simple flashlight and screwdriver toolboxes. Keep an eye out for ASHI in the news in the next Reporter.
