Membership Now Receives Two Monthly E-newsletters
In addition to The Inspector, the full membership now receives First Thing, the monthly e-newsletter for national and chapter leaders. The ASHI Board of Directors requested that the leadership e-newsletter be shared with all members to ensure everyone knows what the leaders know. It arrives the last day of the month, and covers events and activities for the new month.
To receive all the e-newsletters, members must have an up-to-date e-mail address on file at HQ and have approved e-mails from ASHI with their service provider and/or SPAM software.
ASHI President’s monthly Podcast
To view the monthly podcast from Frank Lesh, ASHI 2007 president, visit the Membership Extranet section of www.ashi.org. If you’re a member who doesn’t know how to log in, contact HQ at hq@ashi.org.
ASTM meeting
The next ASTM meeting to discuss home inspection activity will take place Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at ASTM International HQ, West Conshohocken, Pa. The ASHI Board of Directors encourages all members to attend and cast a vote in opposition to the proposed inspection standard development.
2007 Chapter Leadership Training: Send your newest! Send your best!
Chapters are encouraged to send their current and emerging leaders (not the old-timers, please!) to the 1-1/2-day event, beginning at noon on Thursday, October 18, and continuing through Friday, October 19, in Rosemont, Ill.
Learn more about planned events in Chapter News. Invitations to the chapters were e-mailed to chapter leaders in July. Questions? Contact Bob Kociolek at 847-954-4177 or bobk@ashi.org.
Increase attendance by advertising chapter seminar
Reserve space early to advertise your chapter seminar in print or online. The 2007-08 ASHI Advertising Kit is now available. The good news is rates remain the same for the third consecutive year while online opportunities expand. Here’s the way to reach your target audience for a reasonable fee. Questions? Contact Sandy Bourseau at sandyb@ashi.org or 847-954-3177.
