Meet the Nominee: Ray Mayo

2025 ASHI Elections

September 12, 2024

Dear ASHI Members,

Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I am running for an ASHI leadership position because I want to give back to an organization that has greatly supported me throughout my career as an inspector.

Over the years, I have dedicated myself to becoming the best inspector I can be. This experience has given me firsthand knowledge of what working inspectors need and how they can benefit most from ASHI’s resources.

My goal is to make ASHI as valuable as possible for inspectors in the field. If elected, I plan to:

• Tap into our collective knowledge to provide more relevant information, tips and tricks to help inspectors perform better inspections.

• Promote opportunities for inspection shadowing and mentoring.

• Enhance our relevance and standing within the industry and the real estate sector as a whole.

I am passionate about improving our profession and am committed to ensuring that ASHI remains a vital resource for all its members. It would be an honor to have your support and your vote.

Thank you for considering me for this leadership role.

Sincerely,

Ray Mayo
