Leadership Training Conference Highlights

Forty-nine Chapters Send Local Leaders to Annual Leadership Training Conference

Attending the Leadership Training Conference is one of the most important benefits of being an ASHI member. It allows current leaders and future leaders to come together for extensive training for leadership positions.

The 2009 ASHI conference was a success, with 90 leaders, 12 ASHI staff and 23 board members attending, for a total of 125 participants. The 125 participants represented 49 chapters.
Attendees rated the program from good to excellent. They liked the interaction between the presenters and other members, the range of topics and activities and the ideas that were shared for improving chapter structure, goals and methods.

We appreciate all of the suggestions submitted to ASHI. These suggestions will help us organize an even better program next year.
