Labell Represents ASHI at Rebuilding Together Conference

In his session at the Rebuilding Together Conference in New Orleans, Bruce Labell, ASHI director, explained how and why ACIs could help conference attendees accomplish their mission of bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of homeowners in need.

He reports Rebuilding Together is looking at ways to better serve the aging population, and was pleased to hear ASHI is doing the same by developing a senior home safety inspection standard.

A Rebuild 1000 Celebration was held during the conference to mark 1,000 homes rebuilt by volunteers in the New Orleans area,

Several ASHI chapters have established close relationships with local Rebuilding Together boards aand find this a rewarding way to give back to their communities.
