InspectionWorld.org — Take a Good Look!

by Angela Orlando October 1, 2007

Although InspectionWorld New Orleans is still a few months away, it’s not too early to plan on attending THE Conference for Home Inspectors! Registration is open, and if you’ve already taken advantage of our convenient on-line registration process, then great, we can’t wait to see you in January! If you have not registered yet, well, just one question … why not?

Maybe you need more information about the conference before you move forward. If that’s the case, then here’s what you need to do:

Go to your computer, have a seat and make yourself comfortable (you may be there for a while — there’s a LOT of information to peruse).

Type in www.inspectionworld.org to visit the conference Web site, designed and produced by Judy Delvoye, ASHI’s graphic design manager.

Start clickin’! Everything you need to know about InspectionWorld is NOW at your disposal.

Heard about the New Software Shootout and want to learn more? The answer is there. Interested in assisting with Katrina Relief efforts while you are in town, but not sure how? The answer is there! Curious as to whether or not New Orleans weather in January constitutes the need to pack a sweater? The answer is there! Want to know which slot machine is ready to pay big at the Harrah’s Casino across the street? The answer is there! (Well, not really, but you WILL find out about the great attractions waiting for you to visit in our host city!)

The InspectionWorld Web site is divided into seven easy-to-navigate sections: General Info, New for 2008, Education, Expo, Events, Register and Travel.

Just looking for some basic conference information? Then make sure you click on the General Info tab. Here is where you will find the overall schedule of events, as well as contact information.

Probably the most exciting tab to be found on the site is New for 2008. We have a lot of new activities planned for New Orleans, and here is where you will find all the info on these new programs, including the Pre-Conference City Tour, as well as ways for you to support Katrina Relief efforts while in town.

In the Education section, you will find a complete schedule of Educational Sessions for all tracks, including this year’s daily “Mini Conferences,” which will focus on a different specialized topic each day. Additionally, you’ll be able to review speaker bios and map out your on-site education plan. Also within the education pages, you get the lowdown on the Software Shootout, as well as some insight as to what Roundtable Sessions will be held in New Orleans.

Interested in making some business purchases while at the show? Then you’d be wise to check out the Expo pages. Complete listings of all InspectionWorld exhibitors may be found here, along with recognition of our sponsors and the hours the hall will be open each day. Also, if you are looking to become an exhibitor at the conference, you’ll be able to print out the Exhibitor Prospectus and Contract here.

Since all work and no play makes for a dull inspector, take a look at the many social and networking events offered at InspectionWorld. This is where you will find details regarding the Opening Night Exhibit Hall Reception, The All-Show Destination Luncheon and the President’s Gala (all of which, by the way, are included in your registration fee if you elect the Full Conference Option). You’ll also be able to take a look at the offerings in our newly expanded Spouse Program, and get info on what other events are complimentary with your registration fee.

By this point, you should be ready to register, but how exactly do you do that? Click on the Register tab, and you’ll be able to register right there online. Or, download, complete and fax the form. Or call registration headquarters to register via phone. Whatever your preference, it’s all at your fingertips.

Finally, if you are interested in learning more about New Orleans and the Hilton Riverside, the Travel tab will give you all the information you need about the hotel AND the city. Click here to make your hotel reservations online.

Of course, if after reviewing ANY of the sections you still have questions, you can always refer to the FAQs located at the bottom of each section tab.

So that’s it … everything you need to know about InspectionWorld all in one spot:  www.inspectionworld.org.
Oh, and if you do happen to find out which slot machine is ready to pay big at Harrah’s Casino across the street, make sure you let us know!

See you in New Orleans!
