ASHI InspectionWorld (IW) in the past has been a great success for education for home inspectors. The 2014 Nashville edition will be no different. With numerous speakers on a wide range of subjects, this looks like a great lineup for the most extensive education opportunity for home inspectors. There will be many vendors who depend on this IW to offer their products to home inspectors and introduce the inspectors to the latest line of report-writing software and tools to make the inspector’s life easier when inspecting homes or offering other inspection add-on services.

The opportunity to network with the vendors, educators and other home inspectors is the very best time to get plenty of new ideas on how to operate your business and what services you might want to start offering to your customers. Home inspectors will always brag about their successes.

Take the time to visit the exhibit hall and find out what products will help make your life as an inspector easier. Be sure to thank each vendor for being present at ASHI IW 2014; maybe even buy something from them to show them you really appreciate the opportunity to view their products.

There will be an opinion survey for the entire conference for you to complete, which will help our director of education, Michele George, and our marketing manager, Dave Kogan, along with the education committee select the speakers for next year’s IW2015 in Philadelphia. The job of selecting the speakers is a very important process, so don’t waste an opportunity to let ASHI know what you think of the vendors, speakers, the courses and the facilities. Nashville is a pretty exciting place to visit, with lots of entertainment venues.
