Become an ACI and dogs will love you

Postcard-dog.jpg

This dog, Sheeba, surprised me by jumping onto my lap while I was inspecting under the sink. The dog’s owner said, “She usually isn’t that friendly.” It must have been my ACI badge that assured her trust.

More layers than a cake

Postcard-roof.jpg

With all these layers of shingles, I’m surprised the roof didn’t cave in.

For a roof with bounce

Postcard-beam.jpg

This is a roof rafter that someone simply cut where a chimney was later added. Walking the roof in this area was like walking on a trampoline.

Done by a licensed roofer?

Postcard-license.jpg

I found this license plate roof patch on a recent inspection. I hope the roof doesn’t get a ticket because the tags have expired.

Another dog that likes ACIs

I ran across this on today’s inspection. This dog was very proud of his “work.”

Mickey Mouse electrical

Postcard-mickey.jpg

I thought this one should be printed just to see how many “wrongs” the inspectors can list on one photo. At least the Mickey Mouse electrical work was signed.
