Chapter Leaders: You’re Invited

by Edited by ASHI Staff August 1, 2005

It’s time again to offer chapter leaders—present and future—the opportunity to network, to learn and to get energized at Chapter Leadership Days in Chicago, October 20-21, 2005.

The event kicks off at 1 p.m. on Thursday with Jeff Cufaude’s return engagement. Last year, attendees said,  “Jeff was great! Bring him back!” And we listened. Cufaude will lead the 3.5-hour, interactive workshop, Volunteers: How to Find Them, How to Use Them, How to Keep Them.

And that’s just the beginning.

Legislation – Janet Swandby , ASHI’s consultant on state legislative affairs, and Randy Pence, ASHI’s federal lobbyist, will bring leaders up-to-date on current state and federal activities and alert them to what to expect for the coming year.

Public relations – After taking the lead for the branding initiative, an active public relations campaign continues to promote ASHI and ASHI Members. Lisa Gunggoll, MS&L account manager, will provide an update.

Marketing – Buz Buzogany, SAVVY Consulting, will be joined by several chapter leaders to share marketing program success stories and to talk about what comes next.

Programs for Candidates – Chapter leaders will share their successful programs for Candidates during a general session.

Networking – Each year, more chapters bring their success stories to share and more leaders come curious about what they can learn from their peers. It keeps getting bigger and better.

See the program distributed with the invitation for details.

Please respond promptly to the invitation.
