Canadian Association Recognizes Gibson
Alden Gibson, Canadian liaison to ASHI and ASHI Canadian Task Force chair, received the President’s Award for outstanding service to the home inspection profession from the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors at the Annual CAHPI Conference, October 14-16th, 2005, in Niagara Falls, Canada. Alden, a conference presenter for both CAHPI and the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI), also serves as Alternate COR Speaker for ASHI and on the ASHI Nominating Committee.
After the CAHPI Awards Luncheon presentation, Alden, who has spent well over 30 days this year volunteering in various Canadian association capacities, said, “One of the things I would like to say to everyone is, volunteer, get involved with your association. The experience is invaluable.”
