Dues renewal deadline passes: CE reporting extended

Sept. 30 was the official date for all members to submit their renewal dues for the 2007-2008 year and, if owed, the required Continuing Education (CE) hours. Because of requests from members, the deadline for reporting CE hours was extended to October 31.

ASHI Certified Inspectors elect officers

ASHI Certified Inspectors are in the process of electing the officers for 2008. For details, see Announcements & Notices.

New strategic plan in the works

ASHI’s officers and directors spent two days in Chicago charting the society’s course for 2008. The Oct. 18 and 19 sessions preceded the Oct. 20 board meeting.

Register early to be counted for ASHI Chapter Enterprise Award

Has your chapter accepted the challenge of competing for the Chapter Enterprise Award? If so, remind everyone to register before the end of the year to be counted in the chapter’s winning attendee total. In fact, encourage everyone to register now. Then you won’t have to worry about deadlines.

ASHI reimburses for new chapter members

To sign up new Associates at a chapter meeting, please download an updated application and chapter reimbursement coupon from the ASHI Web site and ask the prospect to join your chapter and ASHI at the same time.

By doing so, the new member will qualify for a $30 credit on his or her chapter dues. In turn, ASHI will reimburse the chapter $30.

ASHI announces two new programs for increasing income

Globe Roof Inspection Program (GRIP) is recruiting home inspectors to perform residential roof inspections and provide repair estimates throughout North America. More information.
