ASHI takes great pride in being an association led by its members. Pulling leaders from within the membership allows ASHI leadership to fully understand the concerns and wishes of the professional community they represent. Elections will run from September 15 to October 31, 2024.

Per bylaw 2.2, ASHI has three classes of members qualified to
vote: ASHI Inspector, Certified Inspector and Retired Member.
Keep an eye on your inbox, as ballots will be sent via email on September 15, 2024.


Officer Nominees

At the helm of the association are the Officers, which include the President, President Elect, Immediate Past President, Secretary and Treasurer, all of whom work together with the Board of Directors to guide the association at its highest level.

Director Nominees

The Board is the governing body of The American Society of Home Inspectors. They establish the administrative and fiscal policies to govern the the association. They have authority for and are responsible for the supervision, control, and direction of ASHI.

Certification Committee

The Certification Committee governs the ASHI Certification Program and has authority over all essential program decision related to the development, administration, scoring, and ongoing maintenance of the certification program.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is responsible for vetting all applications for elected positions to ensure that candidates on the ballot meet the minimum requirements set forth in the bylaws for the respective positions. The Nominating Committee also has the opportunity to slate the vetted applicants to help membership determine who is the best fit for ASHI.
