Bio
Scott Maury (ACI) Scott Maury has been a Home Inspector since 1997. Scott is the stepson of Claxton Walker who was considered the very first Home Inspector in the Washington DC region. Scott has performed over 10,000 inspections of all types of properties. Prior to home inspection, Scott was in the remodeling business. Scott also spent some years in the boat building business where he developed a sound understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Scott is an Accredited Certified Inspector (ACI). He is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). His ASHI number is 202642. Scott is licensed in Virginia and carries the NRS designated New Residential Construction Certificate. This is required in Virginia for inspectors to have for new construction inspections. He is also licenced in Maryland and has been since the states started licensing the profession. Scott belongs to the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of ASHI (Mac- Ashi) and has served on the Board of Directors. Scott has many other certificates obtained from continuing education through seminars and conferences related to the inspection industry. Scott has one associate Eric Anderson working with his firm. Courtney, Scott's wife, is the business manager and will take calls 24/7
