Bio
I literally grew up in my father's hardware store. By age ten, I knew how to re-screen patio doors, cut keys and re-glaze windows. Even then, in the early 1970s, I was fascinated by the way homes worked.
After college, a publication in an academic journal and a year of law school, I returned to the home improvement industry. While studying law was fascinating, I really wanted a profession where I could use my love of technical writing without spending sixty hours or more per week in an office building!
I learned much in my years as a regional manager in the "big box" home improvement industry, but my life changed when I started Home Inspections Plus, LLC in 2011. To say "I LOVE my job!" is the understatement of the century, and I bring this passion with me, on every inspection.
