I have been a full time inspector in the Triangle market for over fifteen years. I have inspected thousands of homes “one home at a time”. Each home is different and unique. I see some of the same problems over and over but, I always see something new. There is no substitute for knowledge and experience. I have a Master degree in education from and I am always in the “teaching” mode. I view an inspection as not only a time to find what problems may exist with the home you are purchasing but, also a chance for you to learn about your new home. Homes are made up of many systems and I feel an inspection is also an opportunity to educate you about these systems. I am a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the oldest and most respected inspector organization in the nation. I adhere to their standards which are more stringent than the standards.
