Bio
Aloha,
I have been in the Inspection Industry for over 12 years and currently in the Honolulu Fire Department for approximately the same amount of time. I grew up as a finish carpenter working in the Family Business (Makainai Cabinet Systems) specializing in commercial and custom cabinetry. I moved on to construction and renovation projects learning about different trades in the Building Industry. I Joined Building Specs Hawaii in 2009 and became a Certified Home Inspector in 2010 with NAHI and ASHI. I love the Housing and Building Industry and take pride in my JobS (In Hawaii, you need more than 1 job). Our main objective is education on current or future Houses and every inspection is treated as our own house inspection, focusing on function and safety.
Being Born and raised in the islands with 4 kids of my own and being part of the HFD, safety is my #1 priority!
