Bio
48 Years trade experience: Long’s GCS Corp. is a 4 inspector firm owned and managed by home inspector Chris Long. Chris has been working in the home inspection industry since 2009 and has personally completed thousands of detail-oriented inspections for his clients. Chris is a 48 year veteran plumbing, heating, and cooling specialist by trade. He decided that the best way to put his diverse knowledge of the building industry to use would be to become a licensed home inspector and truly help people through honest inspections and practical home maintenance advice. He thoroughly enjoys educating his clients and sharing his own wisdom about home purchase and ownership with them. Chris is also a NYS Licensed Mold Assessor (#MA02161), N.R.S.B. Radon Measurement Technician (11ST003), and NADRA certified deck inspection specialist. He is the immediate past President of the N.Y. Metro Chapter of ASHI currently serving as Secretary, and a Regional Board Member of NYSAHI (New York State Association of Home Inspectors) When he isn’t working, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his family and 10 grandchildren, boating, and fishing.
