Douglas Hansen

Douglas is a code consultant, author, expert witness, and instructor with 30 years of field experience. He is a licensed contractor and ICC certified as a building, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical inspector. Douglas taught for many years in the College of San Mateo Building Technology degree program. Presenting seminars on electrical code, grounding, and code changes for military and commercial facilities across the country, he teaches inspectors on a wide variety of building issues. Currently, he is the managing instructor for Inspection Training Associates in Oakland and Las Vegas.
