Valencia Home Inspector Receives Industry Honor

Valencia, Pa. (February 25, 2009)- Home inspector Brendan Ryan, owner of Component & System Analysis in Valencia, Pa., received the 2008 President's Award from the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) in recognition of outstanding service to the Society. 

ASHI 2008 President Brion Grant said he selected Brendan Ryan, Valencia, Pa., for the President’s award “because of the incredible behind the scenes work he did on creating the certification program from scratch, while also serving on the difficult but important governance task force.”

Ryan has performed more than 9,000 inspections in the Pittsburgh area since 1989. He serves on the ASHI board of directors and is very active in promoting excellence within the home inspection profession.
