880 attendees gathered in Nashville for ASHI's annual education conference and expo, January 12th -15th. This number matched attendance in Las Vegas in 2013. In the lively expo hall, everyone enjoyed a great time wining, dining and visiting with the exhibitors. A bluegrass band played a country sound and a Dolly Parton look-a-like sang and said "howdy y'all." Some brave souls rode the mechanical bull or competed in crawl races, and others sat for a portrait. These were some of the activities availablt from a few of our many great sponsors. Raffle drawings provided excitement and happy winners.
The education program included pre-conference and post-conference courses, a three-day schedule of classes, lunch 'N learns and special events—plenty of opportunities to learn from knowledgeable experts in discussions and classes.
We welcomed new members and first-time attendees at our New to ASHI Event and The ASHI School held a class reunion. The ASHI Annual Meeting and Awards Breakfast, a traditional time to recognize achievements and induct new officers, provided some wonderful moments. At the President's Gala, everyone enjoyed the delicious meal, a fun evening learning country line dancing and rocking the night away. Attendees experienced a successful, event-packed conference. Everyone enjoyed the live country music, good food, exchange of ideas and camaraderie. Many spouses enjoyed the classes and planned tours of the Nashville area.
