Jacksonville, Fla. (February 25, 2009) – The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) named Charles Gifford today as the 2009 ASHI national treasurer.

Gifford is a resident of Jacksonville, Fla. His company, AmeriSpec of Northeast Florida, Inc., serves the surrounding communities. Gifford is also a member of the FLA-ASHI chapter, where formerly he was the president. He has been a member of ASHI since 1992 and has previously served on a national level as the member of the board of directors, council group leader, council representative and vice president.

“Charles Gifford is an outstanding member of the American Society of Home Inspectors,” Bill Richardson, 2009 ASHI president, said. “He benefits the Jacksonville community by encouraging consumers to call on ASHI home inspectors when they need an expert’s opinion on the condition of a house.  I am looking forward to working with him this year.”
