Bio

Graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1976 with degree in Business Administration. Worked for a Dun & Bradstreet publishing company for a few years before getting into home inspections full time in 1993. In an effort to know my job as well as I can I earn about 50-60 hours of continuing education per year. I am currently on the ASHI Board of Directors and have previously served on the Council of Representatives and Standards Committee of the Society and am past president of the Great Lakes Chapter. I also hold membership with the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA). My primary field of interest is indoor environments and what causes their problems. I am qualified to evaluate for issues of water intrusion, fungal presence, and allergens. I also write remediation plans that specify how conditions are to be corrected according to the IAQA and the S520 standard
