Bio

Bruce began Schaefer Inspection Service with his father Marvin in 1980. He has been an ASHI member since 1983. He has been inspecting residential and commercial properties for over 40 years. He has developed raw land and built both residential and commercial buildings. He is also an experienced property manager. Bruce is licensed as a home inspector in Connecticut, a certified ASHI Inspector holds a supervisory pest control license for wood-destroying insects, and earned NRPP (National Radon Proficiency Program) certification for radon testing. Bruce served as president of the New Haven chapter of the National Association of Home Builders and was selected as Builder of the Year. He also serves on the Connecticut Home Inspection Licensing Board. His many years of experience, knowledge, and expertise offers buyers, sellers, and real estate agents confidence in the information they gather about the integrity of buildings inspected by Schaefer Inspection Service.
