Bio

Terry Carson, B.Sc, MBA, CET is the principal of Guardian Home Inspectors Inc., since 1984. He a Licensed Engineering Technologist in Ontario for performing Building Envelope Condition Assessments, as well as a Licensed Master Electrician and ASNT Level 2 Certified Thermographer. He performs home inspections, moisture intrusion investigations and provides professional practice expert reports. He brings over 35 years of experience and continuing education to each home inspection. Terry was the founding president of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors, the first Canadian ASHI Chapter in 1986, and spearheaded the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors Act in 1994. Terry was awarded the ASHI Member of the Year Award in 1989. Terry chaired the ASHI Exam Committee in 1983-84 and has served on numerous committees, including ASHI, OAHI, CAHPI and ASTM.
