My name is Kate and I'm the owner of Tried-and-True Home Inspections. After years of working in communications, I decided to get out from behind a desk and started a HandyGirl business; I helped people fix and maintain their homes. Home repair, improvement, and maintenance was something I had always done for myself, and I did it well. Creating a business around it just made sense. The real satisfaction came with educating my clients about the problems with their properties and how to do the maintenance themselves. Becoming a home inspector was the natural next step for me. I attended the Inspector Education Institute in Robbinsville, NJ and received an excellent education that set the foundation for the work required to obtain a home inspector license. I have a wide variety of experience, vast skill set, and solid education to help my clients confidently make the biggest purchase of their lives and maintain it for years to come.
