Bio

Aloha, I have been in the Inspection Industry for over 12 years and currently in the Honolulu Fire Department for approximately the same amount of time. I grew up as a finish carpenter working in the Family Business (Makainai Cabinet Systems) specializing in commercial and custom cabinetry. I moved on to construction and renovation projects learning about different trades in the Building Industry. I Joined Building Specs Hawaii in 2009 and became a Certified Home Inspector in 2010 with NAHI and ASHI. I love the Housing and Building Industry and take pride in my JobS (In Hawaii, you need more than 1 job). Our main objective is education on current or future Houses and every inspection is treated as our own house inspection, focusing on function and safety.
