Bio

Dean Arrington Associates is a full service property inspection business. Celebrating 40 years in business (1982-2022) the company is currently operated by a second generation inspector. We strive to provide our clients with prudent guidance regarding the property in question. Brian has a particular specialty in old and historic homes. Brian has inspected thousands of old homes dating back to the 1700s. Newer construction methods and materials lend themselves to other issues not often found on old homes. These too, are well understood by our inspectors. Brian has gained a well deserved reputation for being detail oriented but not unnecessarily obsessive, being a clear communicator both orally and in writing as well as having a good "bedside manner". Our services include the general home inspection, WDI inspections, radon testing, mold testing, sewer line inspections and specialty stucco inspections. Many other services are available as the need dictates buy coordinating with trusted colleagues. Other services include level 2 chimney inspections, oil tank searches, septic inspections, lead inspections and more. Our goal is to identify our client needs, then develop a scope of inspection services to meet those needs.
