Lon is the president and owner of Technihouse Inspections, Inc., a Residential and Commercial Inspection company in Bloomfield Hills, MI for over 40 years. He is a founding father of ASHI, GLC (American Society of Home Inspectors, Great Lakes Chapter). Professionally, he holds memberships in ‘ASHI’ (American Society of Home Inspectors) and formerly ‘NAHI’ (National Association of Home Inspectors) and also maintains credentials with ICC (International Code Council), Radon Mitigation, and the Mechanical Contractors Association. Lon is a licensed Asbestos Abatement contractor, HVAC contractor, as well as a Licensed Builder. Lon is also a founding member of MICHAHI (Michigan Association of Home Inspectors). Lon was the Home Repair Columnist for the Detroit Free Press for 29 years, Eccentric Newspapers for six years, former host of “Ask the Handyman Show” as well as hosted numerous television and radio home improvement shows.
