Bio

I am Bill Carlson and I am Carlson Home Inspection. I have personally inspected approximately 7,500 homes over the last 18 years. You can depend on excellent service as I handle all my clients personally. I specialize in both older homes and new construction. I have always lived in older homes and have bought, renovated, and sold older homes in Nashville and New Orleans. My first-hand personal experience gives my clients a unique perspective and knowledge of older construction styles. I make it my business to have the knowledge to make the tough calls with new construction. I have three certifications with the International Code Council (ICC) which is the group that writes and maintains our national building codes and hold the TN State Fire Marshal's Office Certified Code Inspector certification, which is the same credential a local codes inspector must maintain. I also hold an inactive professional engineering (PE) license from my prior life as an engineer. Hope to hear from you!
