ASHI National Healthy Homes Conference Presentation Available for Download
DES PLAINES, Ill.,
(June 23, 2011) ASHI immediate past president
David Tamny, and ASHI Washington lobbyist Randall Pence, presented a session
entitled “The Essential Role of Inspections in the Safe &
Healthy Homes Initiative” on Wednesday, June 22 at
the 2011 National Healthy Homes Conference being held in Denver on June 20-23.
While a HUD inspection program is still only in the discussion phase at this
time, Tamny illustrated the experience that certified home inspectors would
bring to a home inspection or home assessment, based on health and safety
hazards they routinely identify in their daily work.
