ASHI has created several educational opportunities for prospective home inspectors. With our home inspection training, students
can take a home inspection course to learn about the profession and gain the skills and knowledge necessary to become a
competent, certified home inspector.
Depending on your learning style and preference, you can take a home inspection course or receive your home inspection training
in a few different ways. You can earn your home inspection education from the convenience of your home, your local community
college or through one of ASHI's endorsed independent training schools throughout the United States.
The American Society of Home Inspectors, Inc., has been in business for more then 30 years, with the common goal of building

ASHI@HOME Training System
The ASHI@HOME education system is a comprehensive distance learning program developed by the most respected names in training and professional home inspection – Carson Dunlop and ASHI. The ASHI School
Nearly half of the live course hours are spent learning by doing real inspections. The courses are designed as an intelligent blend of pre-class study materials, live classroom lecture and actual in-field inspection training.
