It’s been almost a year since ASHI accepted former NAHI members into ASHI. We are pleased to say that the transition has been smooth. Probably because ASHI, like NAHI, is an organization run by it’s members. Each voting member gets a say in how the Society is operated through the elected Board of Directors.
All ASHI members, as well as former NAHI members and the general inspector community should know, that as the voice of the profession, ASHI strives to protect home inspectors’ interests whether on the local or federal level. We do that through our chapters, allied associations and through ASHI’s lobbying efforts in Washington D.C.
In that spirit, former NAHI inspectors, their clients and affiliates who have relied on NAHI can rest assured ASHI is proud and dedicated to serve the profession. Our mission statement says it:
"To set and promote standards for property inspections and to provide the educational programs needed to achieve excellence in the profession and to meet the needs of our Members”.
To former NAHI members, clients and affiliates: A heartfelt welcome to ASHI!
ASHI Executive Director
