Bio
Darin grew up in the Shenandoah Valley, and learned about home repairs and renovations from his father, a self-taught renovator, Habitat for Humanity volunteer, and drafting instructor.
Darin has worked as an electrician’s assistant for a commercial electrician, a roofer, and co-owned a Richmond based Hardwood Flooring business. He then worked for 11 years with a major homebuilder in the Richmond area, specializing in purchasing and estimating, before being promoted to assistant superintendent and finally Manager of the Warranty Department, which oversaw more than 150 homes per year. In 2014, he joined Lissenden Home Inspections and has since completed more than 1,500 home inspections.
Darin lives in his latest home improvement project, a bungalow in Richmond’s Bellevue neighborhood, on the city’s Northside.
